Azienda agricola La Mondianese
The Vineyard, La Mondianese, was born from a precious root: the passion for Ruchè wine and its culture.
Ruchè, is a rare and exclusive grapevine. Its production is limited to a tiny region covering 40 hectares (100 acres) of vines around the villages of Castagnole Monferrato, Refrancore, Grana, Montemagno, Viarigi, Scurzolengo and Portacomaro. Ruché is, therefore, one of the lowest production and most exclusive varietals in Italy.
The winery is centred around the original nineteenth-century farmhouse which dominates our vineyard of over fifteen acres of perfect grape growing terrain.
Nestling gently in the hills of the Montemagno and Castagnole Monferrato, one of the best wine regions in Piedmont (Asti – Italy), the winery today boasts a state of the art modern cellar for winemaking and ageing enabling us to achieve the highest production standards.

We will be delighted to host your visit to our winery, vineyards and cellar.
Beyond a simple visit we can offer you tutored wine tastings.
Beyond our vineyard, the land around us lends itself to scenic footpaths and mountain bike trails so you can explore our wonderful natural environment in peace and safety away from urban pressure and traffic.
